20171017 Cal OES update
The fire status is good. Weather is cooperating. Red-flag warnings have been lifted for Northern California.

Fire by the numbers:
- major fires: 14
- acres burned: 213,000 (~ size of San Diego)
- fatality: 41
- structures destroyed or damaged: 5,700+
Resources have been deployed,
- 880 fire engines + 200+ out-of-state fire engines
- 10,000 firefighters
- 134 bulldozers
- 27 national guard aircrafts
- 11 firefighting helicopters + 34 federal firefighting helicopters
- 5 large air tankers + 15 federal large air tankers
- 2 DC-10 very large air tankers
- 6 military helicopters
- 2,100 national guards
- 425 law enforcement officers
- 196 CHP officers
There is about 3,600 population in 39 shelters. Commodities have been distributed,
- 40,320 meals
- 60,000 liters of water
- 2,000 ADA compliance cots
- 12,000 blankets
- 100,000 N95 masks
