It is the sixth day of the fire. There is some encouraging news as three small fires have been fully contained. Some large fires have good progress. 

People have been suggested to keep cars out of the fire areas in order to keep roads open to emergency vehicles.

69 out of 77 damaged cellular towers have been restored. 17,500 residents have been restored with power. Thre are still 29,500 residents without power.

20 fire investigators have been working on the fire scenes to identify the cause of the fires. 

Fire by the numbers:

  5. shelters: 43 (at 40% shelter capacity)

Resources have been deployed,

  1. 845 fire engines + 170 out-of-state fire engines
  2. 9,000 firefighters
  3. 116 bulldozers
  4. 27 national guard aircrafts
  5. 6 military helicopters
  6. 2,100 national guards
  7. 425 law enforcement officers
  8. 160 CHP officers

There is about 3,900 population in 43 shelters. Commodities have been distributed,

  1. 40,320 meals
  2. 60,000 liters of water
  3. 12,000 blankets
  4. 100,000 N95 masks
